XTREME Series
Within mining operations, there is an increased awareness of workforce safety and the various factors which affect the work environment. The use of appropriate lighting can enhance operator safety in harsh work environments.
Burn Brite’s XTREME series of luminaires have been developed to withstand these environments.
To assess the suitability of lighting systems for individual mine sites, Burn Brite carefully considers factors such as the distance between the lights, lighting level required, location and mounting to determine the appropriate lights to suit the particular task and harsh environment.
Based on Burn Brite’s experience in supplying lighting systems to the majority of underground coal mines in eastern Australia, a total system has been developed which includes the factory fitting of interconnecting cables to the fixtures, cable lengths to the specification of the users.
The systems are delivered pre-wired which saves on-site installation costs.
Burn Brite’s interconnected lighting system ensures an economical, flexible installation especially where long runs such as underground declines, long mining faces and roadway lighting are encountered.
The Ampcontrol distribution board can complete the total lighting system.
