Service Department

The Service Department is supported by Burn Brite’s engineering resources enabling it to not only service but to perform upgrades and modifications to certified product (within certificate parameters).

The Burn Brite Service Department works in accordance to AS/NZS 3800:2005 for ‘Electrical Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres - Overhaul & Repair’.

All Service Department personnel are trained and meet the requirements of AS/NZS 4761.1. - competencies for working with electrical equipment for hazardous areas (EEHA).

The Service Department provides the following:

• OEM Service & Refurbishment of Burn Brite mine lighting equipment, including cables
• OEM Service of Burn Brite hazardous area & portable lights
• Maintenance & installation training for Burn Brite mine lighting equipment
• Onsite service
• Certification for all mining equipment tested & serviced
• High voltage testing of electrical components & static pressure testing of Ex d enclosures
• Rapid turn-around times
• Large stock of OEM spares
